Natural selection is often highlighted as a key example of evolution, with cases like Darwin's finches being cited as evidence. These finches have different beak sizes that allow them to consume various types of food, which evolutionists interpret as a sign of evolution in action.
However, what's actually being observed are minor variations within a species. The genetic information required for different beak sizes is already present in the finches' DNA. For true evolution to occur, entirely new genetic information would need to arise to create new features, and this has never been observed.
In essence, natural selection is not the same as evolution.
